파랑은 하늘의 진리, 금색은 인간과 공동체, 빨강은 땅과 조상·생명력을 나타내는 삼신성의 형상입니다.Blue represents heaven's truth, gold represents humanity and community, and red represents the earth, ancestors, and vitality.
삼신(三神)의 세 기둥이 상징하듯, 소도의 가르침은 하늘·인간·땅을 잇는 세 개의 축으로 이루어져 있습니다.As the three pillars of Samshin (the Three Spirits) symbolize, Sodo's teachings rest on three axes uniting heaven, humanity, and earth.
삼신사상(三神思想)은 하늘·인간·땅(자연)이라는 세 개의 축이 서로 분리되지 않고 하나로 어우러져 조화를 이룬다는 한국 전통의 영적·철학적 세계관입니다. 하늘의 진리와 근원적인 빛을 상징하는 천상계(天), 공동체의 평화와 상생을 의미하는 인간계(人), 생명력과 자연의 순환·조상의 뿌리를 나타내는 지상계(地)가 하나로 이어져 있습니다. 우주의 만물은 개별적으로 존재하지 않으며, 하늘의 이치와 땅의 생명력이 인간을 통해 하나로 연결된다는 조화와 통합의 정신이 그 바탕입니다.Samshin (the Three Spirits) holds that heaven, humanity, and earth — three inseparable axes — are woven into a single harmony. The celestial realm embodies heaven's truth, the primal light, and spiritual order; the human realm carries communal peace, mutual flourishing, and mutual respect; and the earthly realm reflects vitality, nature's cycles, and the roots of our ancestors. Nothing in the universe exists in isolation — heaven's principles and earth's vitality are joined into one through humanity, and this spirit of harmony and unity is the foundation of Samshin.
홍익인간(弘益人間)은 '널리 인간 세상을 이롭게 한다'는 뜻으로, 《삼국유사》 단군신화에서 환웅이 하늘에서 땅으로 내려올 때 품었던 정신에 뿌리를 둔 대한민국 고유의 개국 이념이자 핵심 철학입니다. 개인의 이익을 넘어 신도와 이웃, 지역사회와 인류 전체가 함께 도우며 살아가는 상생의 가치를 중시하며, 오늘날에는 이기주의를 지양하고 타인·사회·자연과 조화를 이루는 평화주의와 포용적 인권 의식의 토대로 풀이됩니다. 개인의 자유와 이익을 존중하면서도 모두가 함께 잘 살아가는 포용적 공동체를 만들어가는 지혜를 상징합니다.Hongik Ingan means "to broadly benefit the human world," rooted in the spirit Hwanung carried when he descended from heaven to earth in the founding myth of Dangun recorded in the Samguk Yusa — Korea's own founding ideal and core philosophy. It looks beyond individual gain to the shared flourishing of believers, neighbors, communities, and humanity as a whole, and today it is understood as the foundation of a peace-oriented, inclusive human-rights consciousness that moves beyond self-interest toward harmony with others, society, and nature. It represents the wisdom of building an inclusive community where everyone can live well together, even while respecting individual freedom and interest.
해원상생(解冤相生)은 마음속에 맺힌 원한과 갈등을 풀고(解冤), 서로 도우며 함께 살아간다(相生)는 뜻을 담은 한국 전통 영적·철학적 이념입니다. 해원은 개인과 타인, 과거와 현재 사이에 쌓인 억울함과 원한 등 부정적 감정을 해소하고 마음의 응어리를 씻어내는 과정이며, 상생은 그 바탕 위에서 대립 대신 서로를 살리고 협력하며 공동의 평화를 이루어 나가는 단계입니다. 이는 법적·이성적 합의에 그치지 않고 깊은 공감과 이해를 통해 정서적 안정과 생명력의 회복을 도모하는 영적 치유이기도 합니다. 나쁜 기운과 원한의 고리를 끊어냄으로써 자신과 타인, 나아가 공동체 전체가 상호 존중과 조화 속에서 살아갈 수 있도록 돕는 치유와 평화의 가치입니다.Haewon-Sangsaeng holds two ideas together: releasing the grudges and conflicts held within the heart (haewon), and helping one another to live and flourish together (sangsaeng). Haewon is the process of dissolving resentment and unresolved feelings built up between individuals — or between the past and the present — and washing away the knots within the heart; sangsaeng is the stage that follows, in which people uplift and cooperate with one another rather than opposing or excluding, building shared peace and stability. This is a spiritual healing that goes beyond legal or rational settlement, seeking emotional stability and the restoration of vitality through deep empathy and understanding. By breaking the cycle of ill will and resentment, Haewon-Sangsaeng helps individuals, others, and the community as a whole live together in mutual respect and harmony.

Since we cannot exist for even a single moment apart from it, Sodo stands at the forefront of embracing and preserving nature. To respond humbly to nature's order and live as part of it — this is the very teaching handed down by Samshin faith.

Learning from nature and awakening to its wisdom — this entire process is a sacred practice Sodo will carry forward.
자연은 인간 없이도 홀로 번성하지만, 인간은 자연 없이는 살아갈 수 없습니다. 소도는 자연의 순리를 따라 생명의 가치를 끝까지 지켜나가겠습니다.Nature can flourish on its own without humanity, but humanity cannot live without nature. Sodo will follow nature's order and protect the value of life to the very end.
